How to register to Take the Dental Boards
1. Register with the ADA to get your Dentpin Number

The name and birthdate on the IDs you intend to use at the test center must match your DENTPIN exactly or you will be denied admission to testing and forfeit your testing/application fee. All the names on your ID must be entered. If needed, several names can be entered in the corresponding name field.
2. Validate your title and grades in: ECE – Educational Credential Evaluators

- Course by Course evaluation – Additional Copy
- To make this request you must send the originals of your title and certified notes, with a copy of the translations of both and send a pre-paid envelope with the request so that your original documents can be returned to you. It takes about 7 days.
- Request an electronic report and send it to the The Joint Commission on National Dental Examination (JCNDE) To be allowed to present the Board.
- It’s important that the envelope that comes to you from the ECE is SEALED and “DO NOT” open it because it loses Validity – it is a legal document – for when you need it
3. Register to present the NBDHE or INBDE through the ADA

Once registered you have 6 months to present the board
4. Request the score of the NBDHE or INBDE through the ADA and send them via e-mail to the Florida Board of Dentistry

5. Register to take the Clinical Exam, Florida Law and Clinical computer through CDCA

6. Write an email to the Florida Board of Dentistry requesting the authorization letter to allow you to take the exams, once you have the letter that is your Proof of Graduation

7. Apply for a Hygienist license through the Florida Board of Dentistry
